As of January 15, 2025, the Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded over $8.2 billion to states and territories for the implementation of state home energy rebate programs.
Awarded funds are related to two federally approved rebate programs, each with its own eligibility criteria: Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) and Home Efficiency Rebates (also known as HOMES).
